演奏家さんのお悩み
私はこれまで様々な演奏家さんに演奏活動のお悩みを伺ってきたのですが、
その中で何人かの方から挙げられたお悩みとして
「出演料が安すぎる時にどのように対応したら良いか困る」
というお悩みがありました。
みなさんも演奏を頼みたいと言われたのはいいけれど
無償でだったり、足が出てしまうような金額を
提示されたりということがあるかもしれません。
確かに、自分を安く見られたようで
悔しい思いをしたり、
馬鹿にされているように感じることもあるかもしれませんが
それに腹を立ててはいません。
そもそも外の世界から
音楽の世界は未知の世界です。
正確な金額の提示されなかったということは
こちらの世界のことを伝えきれていない
自分自身に責任があると思ってしまう方が気が楽です。
「無償で」「ボランティアで」と
気軽に依頼してくる人にはなんだか
腑に落ちない腹立たしさを覚えるかもしれません。
良心を利用してくる人など
あまりにも悪質な場合はきっぱり断って良いと思いますが、
そうやって依頼してきてくれる人のすべてが
悪意があるわけでない場合もあります。
知らないだけだったり、
本当に良かれと思っていたり（←意外と迷惑。笑）
あとは、経験を積むのに良い場だと考えてくれている場合もあります。
今後のお付き合いを考えると
なかなかすっぱりとは断れないケースもあるでしょう。
そんな場合の対処方法をご紹介したいと思います。
そんな場合の対策は2パターンあります。
自分が納得できる見返りを提案する
まず、1つ目は、
何かしらの「見返り」を提案して
その条件で受けるというパターンです。
演奏を行って得られるものは
お金だけとは限りません。
ただ、ここを「経験」が得られたにするのではなく
次に繋がる営業の一環とすることです。
支払いに変わる自分のメリットになることを条件として
提案することです。
こんなふうに答えてください。
「お声かけ頂きありがとうございます。
是非、出演させていただきたいと思います。
一つ、ご相談がございます。
本来は、演奏のお仕事を請ける場合
１ステージ○○○○円でお受けしております。
他のお客様の手前もございまして
出演に当たって、
私のファンクラブの宣伝をさせていただくことを
条件とさせていただけないでしょうか？」
という感じです。
一般的なビジネスにおいても
営業の場はお金を出してでも得たい
貴重な場です。
提案上手になることで
無償や低額の依頼も営業の一環として
活用することができます。
ノルマがあるコンサートなどでもこの考え方は有効です。
状況によって変わってきますので
例文を上手く活用してください。
角の立たない断り方
2つ目は断るパターンです。
「お声かけ頂きありがとうございます。
ただ、私は基本的には1ステージ○○○○○円頂いておりまして
皆様にそれでお願いしておりますので
ご希望の△△△△円でお受けするのは難しいです。
代わりにご希望の△△△△円で対応可能そうな方を
つてで探してみたいと思います。
ただ、見つからない場合もありますがその際は、ご了承ください」
と言えば良いのです。
依頼をやんわり断る場合は
感謝の気持ちを伝えつつも、
自分自身の状況を明確に答えることと
代替案を提示することで
誠意を伝えることができます。
無理して付き合うのではなく、
相手と良好な関係を続けていくことはとても重要です。
今回は予算的に難しくても
次回は予算を用意して依頼してくれるかもしれません。
どちらの場合も
他のお客様には正規料金で対応していて
そのお客様の手前がある旨の記載を入れると
ニュアンスがふんわりします。笑

理解してもらえないことへの感情は、
